The client executed the project efficiently and completed all works, culminating in an official handover signed by the project owner and consultant, with a total contract value of 28 million Saudi riyals. Disputes later arose regarding payment, as the owner paid only 23 million Saudi riyals and refused to settle the remaining 5 million Saudi riyals, despite full completion and official acceptance of the works. We filed a commercial lawsuit to claim the outstanding amounts, including bank guarantee fees, unpaid previous progress payments, and additional works carried out at the owner’s request. The court appointed a specialized accounting expert to review contracts, progress claims, and all financial documents. We represented our client before the expert, presenting a comprehensive technical and accounting file detailing payments, change orders, and project milestones. Following hearings and completion of the expert review, the court issued a final judgment in favor of our client, ordering the factory owner to pay the full outstanding 5 million Saudi riyals.
